Former Auburn Receiver Again Seeking Youthful Offender Status

OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) -- Former Auburn receiver Shaun Kitchens is
asking a Lee County judge to reconsider a decision denying his
application for youthful offender status.

Kitchens' attorney filed the motion last Friday asking Lee County Circuit Court Judge Chris Hughes to take up the request again.

Kitchens is one of four Auburn football players charged in March with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and third-degree theft of property after an alleged home invasion.

Hughes denied youthful offender applications for Kitchens, Dakota Mosley and Antonio Goodwin.

Twenty-two-year-old Mike McNeil is not eligible.
