The two guys expected to replace Heisman winner Cam Newton — Auburn quarterback Barrett Trotter (14) and Clint Mosley (15) — work on a drill Wednesday during the national champion Tigers’ first spring workouts.
Former Auburn QB Barrett Trotter has been invited to participate in a rookie minicamp for the St. Louis Rams this weekend on a tryout basis.
Trotter started for the first half of Auburn's 2011 season, going 4-2 in games he started. He was brought in during the Chick-Fil-A Bowl after Clint Moseley suffered an injury.
Trotter went 92/167 for 1184 yards with a 55.1% completion rating last year. He also threw 11 TD's and 6 interceptions with a 129.2 QB rating.
Wide receivers Mike Campbell of Temple and Tony Logan of Maryland will participate in this weekend's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
