GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel has a bruised shoulder blade, but coach Will Muschamp says the sophomore won't miss any playing time.

There had been reports Tuesday that the nation's top quarterback recruit in 2011 broke his left, non-throwing shoulder and would be out indefinitely.

Muschamp said Wednesday that was not the case.

The coach says he doesn't "know how some of these things get caught like wildfire travel, but that's it."

Muschamp says Driskel injured his shoulder in practice Sunday, the first day QBs did not wear red, non-contact jerseys. Driskel iced it Sunday night and Monday, participated in a walk-through and meetings, and ate lunch before going to the team's athletic trainer because the shoulder was still sore and he thought he should be checked out.
