FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) -- Former Alabama running back Demetrius
Goode has signed to play his final season at North Alabama.
Goode had been part of the Crimson Tide team since 2007,
including a redshirt year. He rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown
on 34 carries last season, playing in six games.
North Alabama coach Terry Bowden says Goode got the "highest
recommendations" from Tide coaches for his character, work ethic
and ability. Goode will be eligible to play immediately for the
Division II team.
