Crimson Tide Back to Work with Home Opener on Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The top-ranked football team returned to work on Monday to fix the mistakes from Saturday's 49-42 win at No. 6 Texas A&M and begin preparations for Saturday's home opener at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Crimson Tide will host the Colorado State Rams, coached by former Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain, at 6 p.m. in a games that will be televised nationally by ESPN2. It will be the first meeting on the football field for the two programs.

Junior safety Vinnie Sunseri also garnered honors on Monday following the Texas A&M victory with the College Football Performance Awards naming him the Defensive Back of the Week after returning a Johnny Manziel interception 73 yards for a touchdown and making four tackles.
