ESPN released a preseason freshman All-America team on which both the Crimson Tide and the Tigers boast one player each.
Out of all the Tide's top signees, offensive lineman Grant Hill made the cut. Hill isn't even set to start this season but ESPN thinks he'll be making an impact by the end of this season. If injury becomes a factor for the Tide, Hill will likely be asked to step in.
As for Auburn, defensive end Carl Lawson earned his name on the list. The five-star, No. 2 prospect is expected to make an instant impact for the Tigers.
Two made the list from Ole Miss, one from LSU, three from Florida and one from Georgia.
