AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn is set to host the Southeastern
Conference women's golf championship.
The event opens Friday morning at the Auburn University Club.
The Tigers also hosted in 1981 at Indian Pines and in 1999 at
Grand National. Coach Kim Evans says "this is the time to show
people what we have."
The championship will feature eight teams that are currently
ranked in Top 25 polls. Defending champion Alabama is ranked as
high as No. 2 nationally.
