Auburn WR Corps Banged Up Entering Florida Game

It's been quite a week for the Auburn Football Team. The Tigers quelled rumors of a quarterback controversy on Tuesday, and the team learned on Wednesday it had been cleared by the NCAA in the Cam Newton investigation.

All of this, while the Tigers prepare to host Florida on Saturday. And, once again, Auburn could be short-handed at wide receiver.

Trovon Reed and Emory Blake are battling injuries, and neither may play against the Gators. That means the rest of the team has to step up, something Head Coach Gene Chizik feels didn't happen in last week's loss at Arkansas.

"Obviously, we're going to put the best guys out there that we think give us an opportunity to achieve what we need to achieve offensively," Chizik said. "Like I've said before, the guys that have to go into the game and make the plays, are going to be the same guys, pretty much, who were there last week."

Auburn will host Florida at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night on ESPN.
