It's been a long time since the Auburn Football Team has tried to rebound from a loss. The Tigers defeat at Clemson last weekend was the team's first setback since late November of 2009.
Auburn's 17-game winning streak came to a crashing halt in Death Valley, and now it's time for the team to work on a new streak. That begins this Saturday, at home against Florida Atlantic.
Auburn coaches are curious to see how their young team responds. After all, more than half of this year's roster had never experienced a loss as an Auburn Tiger before last Saturday.
"It's not really about Florida Atlantic, really and truly," Head Coach Gene Chizik said. "This is a game where we have to improve some things in practice, and go out on game day and execute the things like we fell we need to improve on.
"It really wouldn't matter who we're playing. It's very obvious that we really need to play better all the way around as a football team."
Auburn will host Florida Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday on Fox Sports South.
