The Auburn Tigers picked up a pair of commitments Wednesday. The first was Deavaunte Sigler out of Mobile. The senior defensive end held an announcement ceremony Wednesday at B.C. Rain High School.
Sigler is 6’5”, 255 pounds. He played mostly linebacker in high school racking up 100 tackles as a senior. Sigler said he chose Auburn over Mississippi state.
Meanwhile, down in Lake Worth, Florida, running back Tre Mason said he will play for Auburn next season. He says Coach Gene Chizik says he plans to get Mason into the backfield rotation as a freshman.
Mason is 5’9”, 185 pounds. He ran for more that 1600 yards with 24 touchdowns as a senior at Park Vista High School.
