Auburn, Alabama to Gather for Tornado Relief Fund

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Former Auburn and Alabama football players and coaches will play in a flag football game to raise money for tornado relief.

They'll play Aug. 13 in the HeartinDixie Alumni Day Flag Football Game at Spain Park High School to kick off three days of events.

The money will go to the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund for victims of the April tornadoes that killed more than 240 in Alabama.

Former athletes and coaches expected to attend include Auburn's Bo Jackson, Pat Dye and Joe Cribbs and Alabama's Cornelius Bennett, Bobby Humphrey, Gene Stallings and Lee Roy Jordan.

The fund-raiser also includes a charity golf pro-am at Greystone Golf and Country Club. Jerry Pate, Leonard Thompson, Steve Lowery, Michael Thompson and Boo Weekly have committed to play in the
