(DOTHAN) -- Auburn guard Chris Denson is the lone Auburn Tiger named to an All-SEC team.
The senior was named a second-team member of the All-SEC team selected by the league's 14 coaches Tuesday.
Denson leads Auburn and is second in the SEC with 19.2 points per game.
Denson is the first Auburn player to be garner an All-SEC nod since Korvotney Barber in 2009.
Denson was also selected Tuesday to the United States Basketball Writers Association's District IV team. He is one of 10 players on the team with players hailing from Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Auburn opens the SEC Tournament Wednesday (6 p.m. CT, SEC TV) against South Carolina.
