Alabama is gearing up for it's first road trip of the year, and it's a big one. The Crimson tide will visit Penn State on Saturday, which means a trip to Happy Valley and more than 100,000 screaming fans, all wearing white.
That's a tough environment for experienced quarterbacks to face, but Alabama will take two signal callers with one combined start into Beaver Stadium. A.J. McCarron and Phillip Sims are both likely to play against the Nittany Lions, and Head Coach Nick Saban still seems comfortable with the idea of rotating QBs.
"I think both guys are capable of playing better than they did, not that we're disappointed in either one of them," Saban said. "We still feel like we have two really good players at that position, and both of those guys will continue to develop and help us somewhere down the road."
Alabama will visit Penn State at 2:30 on Saturday on ABC.
