Nick Saban saw plenty of mistakes he wanted to correct in Alabama's season opening win over Kent State. It looks like the Crimson Tide accomplished that mission, routing Penn State this past weekend.
Now, the Tide returns home to face North Texas on Saturday. Despite the 2-0 start, Saban believes his team still has a long way to go.
"There were a lot of good things," Saban said of the Penn State win. "We didn't turn the ball over. We didn't get sacked. We only had one offensive penalty which means we really handled the crowd noise well. We did a better job on third down.
"I think the big thing here is, you correct mistakes. You work to eliminate deficiencies on your team, improve and go out and show it on Saturday."
Alabama and North Texas will kick off at 6:30 on Saturday night on Fox Sports South.
