(AP) Alabama tailback Mark Ingram is gearing up to face his boyhood
team. Ingram grew up following his parents' alma mater Michigan State, where his father and grandfather played football.

He and the Crimson Tide will face the Spartans Saturday in the
Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Fla. Ingram says he still cheers for
Michigan State, especially in basketball.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio says "there's no hard
feelings whatsoever" over Ingram choosing Alabama. He won the
Heisman Trophy and a national championship last season.

Ingram's junior season hasn't been as successful. He hasn't
topped 100 yards rushing in his last eight games.

Ingram says he hasn't decided if he'll return for his senior
season or enter the NFL draft, where he's projected as a
first-round pick.
