MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Some of Auburn's top in-state pledges are getting ready for the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic.
So is the state's biggest recruit, Reuben Foster. The Auburn High School linebacker, a former Auburn commitment, says he met with new Tigers coach Gus Malzahn on Monday before heading to Montgomery. He says it went great but plenty of schools have come courting since he reopened the recruiting process last week.
Foster says other coaches are coming by every day and "it's getting kind of crazy and stressful."
He's joined in Montgomery by five current Auburn commitments, including Carver-Montgomery quarterback Jeremy Johnson and Muscle Shoals defensive end Dee Liner.
Johnson says he's "looking forward to just putting on a great show and then all the Auburn fans can see what they've got coming in."
