5 Tide Players Selected by MLB Teams

Five Alabama players were taken on Day Two of the Major League Baseball Draft.

Right-handed Pitcher Jimmy Nelson was the first one to go. The Milwaukee Brewers grabbed him in the second round.

Shortstop Josh Rutledge was picked by the Rockies in the third round.

Later, the White Sox drafted Second Baseman Ross Wilson in the tenth round.

Jake Smith goes in round 15 to the Phillies and Justin Woodall goes in the 26th round to Tampa Bay.
