The Auburn Tigers had a school record nine players selected in the MLB draft Tuesday.
Outfielder Trent Mummey was the first Tiger off the board. He was taken in the fourth round by the Baltimore Orioles. Mummey missed 28 games but still hit 17 homers with 54 rbi.
Later in the fourth, First Baseman Hunter Morris was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers. Morris set an Auburn single season record this year with 23 homeruns.
Tigers' Pitcher Cole Nelson was a 10th round pick of Detroit.
Grant Dayton goes in the 11th round to the Marlins.
Austin Hubbard, Ryan Jenkins, Brian Fletcher and Kevin Patterson were also drafted in the late rounds.
