AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - New Auburn coach Tony Barbee has landed his
first new recruit, signing Huntsville small forward Josh Langford.

Langford is a 6-foot-7, 207-pounder who led Lee High School to
the Class 5A state championship as a senior and averaged 22 points
and 13 rebounds. He announced his college choice on Wednesday at
his school.

He was also named his team's MVP in the Alabama-Mississippi
All-Star Classic in March after leading all scorers with 25 points
and collecting nine rebounds.

Barbee was hired in March to replace Jeff Lebo. Since then, two
earlier signees have been granted a release from their
scholarships.
