BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Alabama All-America linebacker Ronaldo
McClain has advised NFL teams that a new round of medical tests
determined he does not have Crohn's disease as he previously
The Birmingham News reports that McClain's agent, Pat Dye Jr.,
sent the results to the professional teams to give them updated
medical information prior to Thursday's NFL Draft. McClain is
expected to go high in the draft.
McClain had disclosed at Alabama's Pro Day that he had Crohn's,
an inflammatory bowel disease that he had been diagnosed with in
high school. But he said before the A-Day game Saturday it appears
he doesn't have the disease.
