ATLANTA (AP) - Mark Ingram has broken the Alabama school record
for rushing yards in a season during the Southeastern Conference
championship game against Florida.
Ingram had 65 yards rushing midway through the third quarter of
the SEC title game, giving him 1,481 on the season to pass Bobby
Humphrey's mark of 1,471 set in 1986.
The sophomore Ingram scored two touchdowns in the first half and
Alabama was leading 26-13 with 7:36 to go in the third quarter.
