History Shows Auburn/LSU a Tight Game

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The last five meetings have gone down to the wire, with LSU winning the past two. In 2007, Demetrius Byrd's last second touchdown catch kept LSU on track for an eventual national title.

Last year, Jarrett Lee's late scoring pass to Brandon LaFell
lifted LSU to a 26-21 triumph.

LSU (5-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) needs a victory stay
close to top-ranked Alabama in the race to win the SEC Western
Division. Auburn (5-2, 2-2) is trying to stop a two-game losing
streak.

Auburn's offense averages 464.9 yards, but will be challenged by LSU's defense, which has allowed only 12.8 points per game in its last five outings.
