ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia has lost starting left tackle Trinton
Sturdivant to a season-ending knee injury for the second straight
Coach Mark Richt said Sunday Sturdivant tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Saturday's 24-10 loss at Oklahoma State. It is the same knee Sturdivant injured in a preseason scrimmage last year, forcing him to miss the 2008 season.
Sturdivant started all 13 games as a freshman in 2007. Richt said the injury is "psychologically tough" for Sturdivant but said the sophomore can return from a second reconstructive surgery.
