TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama receiver Julio Jones is much
more interested in supplying big plays than sound bites.
The Crimson Tide star was all business Sunday at the team's
media day. He was off-limits to the media last season and during
the spring under coach Nick Saban's rules for freshmen.
Jones has been among the team's most popular players since
arriving on campus. He was even voted into office in the student
government through unsolicited write-in votes.
He said the hype doesn't bother him and he doesn't feel pressure
to put up bigger numbers as a sophomore. Jones was a first-team
All-Southeastern Conference performer and the league's freshman of
