AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers are hoping for a quick
resolution to the quarterback race.
The Tigers officially report for fall camp on Tuesday and begin
practice a day later.
The most talked about battle will be between junior quarterbacks
Kodi Burns and Neil Caudle and perhaps senior Chris Todd. Freshman
Tyrik Rollison also joins the mix.
The Tigers are also looking to shore up thin linebacking and
Receivers coach Trooper Taylor didn't have a full look at his
roster of contenders during the spring. Top returning receiver
Montez Billings was out with an academic issue and Philip
Pierre-Louis was recuperating from knee surgery.
Much of the buzz surrounding the receivers has been generated by
freshmen DeAngelo Benton and Emory Blake.
