NASCAR Dover Pole Goes to Martin

DOVER, Del. (AP) --Fifty-three-year-old Mark Martin won his 54th career pole in the No. 55 Toyota of Michael Waltrip Racing.

The veteran Sprint Cup driver turned a lap of 158.297 mph with the final run of the day at Dover International Speedway, bumping Jimmy Johnson to a second-place start in Sunday's race on the Monster Mile.
