Daytona, FL- The quest to dethrone the 48 cars 5 year reign has once again fueled the number 11 car of Denny Hamlin. And incredible 2010 season came up short but the young challenger feels being runner-up made him tougher.

Denny Hamlin, finished 2nd in 2010 cup standings
"It's a learning experience," Hamlin said. "It makes you tougher more prepared when u get around that same situation again."

His excitement to get back on the track is evident.

"I'm ready to race today with no practice. Really don't need that much practice. The points change and rules don't matter as much other than affecting how the car handles. I'm sure most drivers will tell you line 'Em up and race them now.

Hamlin and the 11 team get that shot this Sunday.
