Biffle or Edwards? Roush Drivers Split on No. 1

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) -- Greg Biffle thinks Carl Edwards is the leader of Roush-Fenway Racing. Edwards has pretty good reason to think Biffle is the guy in charge now.

The often-overlooked Biffle is leading the Sprint Cup standings coming to Kansas Speedway, where he's won twice. Biffle qualified 17th for Sunday's race, four spots ahead of Edwards and just ahead of their teammate, Matt Kenseth.

Biffle failed to make the 10-race Chase for the championship last season, but an overhaul at the No. 16 team has already paid dividends. Biffle finished third in each of the first three races this season and snapped a 49-race winless streak last weekend at Texas.

Still, it hasn't been enough for Biffle to anoint himself the leader of the team.
