TROY, Ala. – Troy's non-conference football game at Georgia on Sept. 20 will be televised live by the SEC Network with kickoff set for 11 a.m. (CDT) at Sanford Stadium, the SEC Network announced Thursday afternoon.
It will be the second meeting between the two schools as Georgia escaped with a 44-34 victory back in 2007 in the only other meeting.
Troy now has three games scheduled for television in 2014 after ESPNU selected Troy's road games at South Alabama (Oct. 24) and Georgia Southern (Oct. 30). Entering the 2014 season, 42 of the past 46 Troy football games have been broadcast live, including all 12 games last season.
Troy opens its 2014 season at UAB on Aug. 30, and the Trojans open the home portion of their schedule one week later on Sept. 6 against Duke. For season ticket information, call 1-877-878-WINS or visit TroyTrojans.com.
