If you haven't heard, summer isn't going too hot for former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez. After being charged with murder, the Pats released the Tight End from the program. Now, the organization is letting fans who bought Aaron Hernandez jerseys exchange the merchandise for a current player.

Today began the two-day exchange extravaganza at the Patriots' Pro Shop in Gillette Stadium. Hundreds of fans arrive half an hour early to do just that. By 11 A.M, they had already exchanged over 500 jerseys. The most popular trade requests were for Vince Wilfork and Tom Brady.

In total, around 1,200 jerseys have already been traded in and it continues through tomorrow from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M.
