Wiregrass Indians 16U Finish the Season Strong

A viewer shared with us an update on the 16U Wiregrass Indians.

The Wiregrass Indians traveled to Birmingham to play in the Elite Series tournament featuring teams from around the southern states area.

The Indians were victorious over Middle Georgia Baseball, Team Georgia and 360 Baseball and walked away from the tournament undefeated. The teams played at UAB and Samford University over the weekend.

The Indians finished their season strong, winning their last eight games and winning a tournament at the University of West Florida.

The Indians finished with a 17-6-2 record overall and traveled to many colleges in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

The team’s bats were also strong, finishing the season with a team batting average of .346 and over 90 RBI’s.

The Indians capitalized on the bases with a .438 on base percentage. The pitching duties were split up among 11 pitchers that finish with a team ERA of 2.319. The team averaged 5.4 runs per game and only allowed 3.1 runs per game playing awesome defense behind their strong pitching.
