LSU head coach Les Miles stunned the college football world last week when he announced that All-American cornerback Tyrann Mathieu had been dismissed from the team. Now reports are surfacing that suggest we may not have seen the last of Mathieu in an LSU uniform.
According to a report from ESPN's Joe Schad citing anonymous sources, Mathieu has expressed interest in sitting out this season, staying in class and hoping for a return to the program in 2013. LSU would obviously have to be agreeable to such a return in order for it to take place.
