DOTHAN, AL -- Tucker Allen entered the final round of the 11-12 Year-Old age group at the Future Masters in a first place tie with Mason Nome. On a day which yielded few low scores, Allen's was the lowest, shooting a -2, 68 to capture the age group title.

Allen finished with a -3, 207, good for a one stroke victory over Tyler Lipscomb. Nome finished third with a -1, 209.

Allen was just one of three players to shoot -2 under on the day, joining Lipscomb and Josef Dransfield, who finished fifth. Only five players managed rounds under par on the final day.

That number included Dothan native Thomas Ponder, who shot a -1, 69 on Tuesday. Ponder finished in a tie for 9th place. Fellow Dothan representative Hal Dove struggled on the final day shooting a +10 to finish in a tie for 31st.
