Troy Looks to Limit Turnovers Against Mississippi State

The Troy Football Team has turned the ball over five times so far this season. Now, the Trojans are preparing to face a defense known for taking the ball away.

Mississippi State will come to Veteran's Stadium this weekend. The Bulldogs have forced eight turnovers through two games, including five against Auburn last Saturday.

So, the Trojans know they must take better care of the football if they hope to upset the Bulldogs and send another major conference team packing from Veteran's Stadium with a loss.

"Precise route running, looking everything in and catching the ball and taking care of it after the catch," Troy Head Coach Larry Blakeney. "I think we'll be able to deal with them. I hope they can't just totally shut us down.

"If they do, we'll be in trouble."

Troy will host Mississippi State at 6 p.m. on Saturday night on ESPN3.
