TROY, Ala. – Troy will play three nationally televised Sun Belt Conference football games in 2013, including a home game against ULM, the league office announced Friday morning.
Troy will host ULM on Thursday, Oct. 31, in Veterans Memorial Stadium in a game that will be televised by ESPNU. Troy’s game at Arkansas State on Thursday, Sept. 12, and at Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday, Nov. 7, will also be televised by ESPNU.
The Trojans open the season with back-to-back home games against UAB (Aug. 31) and Savannah State (Sept. 7) before hitting the road for three straight. Troy opens the road trip with a visit to two-time defending Sun Belt Champion, Arkansas State, in the Thursday night ESPNU tilt.
Troy steps back out of conference with road trips to Mississippi State (Sept. 21) and Duke (Sept. 28) before returning home to face South Alabama on Oct. 5.
Two more road trips follow as the Trojans will travel to Georgia State on Oct. 12 and then to Western Kentucky on Oct. 26 following a bye week.
The ESPNU cameras will turn their attention back on the Trojans the next two weeks as Troy hosts ULM on Halloween night and travels to Louisiana-Lafayette the following week on Nov. 7.
Troy’s final road game of the season sends the Trojans to Oxford, Miss., to take on Ole Miss on Nov. 16. Following another bye week, Troy will wrap up the regular season at home on Friday, Nov. 29, against Texas State.
