TROY, Ala. – Troy will revisit the site of its first game as a Football Bowl Subdivision member when the Trojans travel to Nebraska on Sept. 15, 2018. Both schools announced the one-game contract on Tuesday.
The visit will be Troy’s fifth to Memorial Stadium, but first since 2006. The Trojans and Cornhuskers played in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2006 with Nebraska winning all four previous matchups.
The game with Nebraska is Troy’s second non-conference game scheduled in 2018 as Troy will host Boise State on Sept. 1 to open the season.
Troy travels to Arkansas State on Thursday night for a nationally televised showdown on ESPNU. Kickoff between the Trojans and Red Wolves is set for 6:30 p.m. Troy heads to Jonesboro, Ark., 2-0 on the young season and in search of its first 3-0 start to a season since 2000.
