The NBA Draft came and went once again without a player from either Alabama or Auburn hearing his name called but a pair of players from the state have made a splash early this summer in the NBA Summer League and could be working their way toward a spot on an NBA roster.
Former Alabama star Tony Mitchell and former Auburn Tiger Kenny Gabriel were both picked up for the Sacramento Kings' summer league squad and the pair of former rivals put up impressive numbers over the weekend in a game against the LA Lakers' summer squad.
