Dothan, AL-It's that time of year again! Young golfers from all over the country are making their way to the Wiregrass for the 64th annual Future Masters.
After months of preparation, the event officially teed off today.
The 10 and under, 11 and 12, 13 and 14 age groups took to the green at the Dothan Country Club for practice rounds.
Moms and dads stood by their sons as they got their last few swings in before the competition.
Among this year's bunch of golfers, several young men are representing the Wiregrass. These boys are excited to compete on their home course.
Hal Dove, in the 11-12 age group, says it's fun to see how you do in an actual tournament on your own home course.
Kyle Cornelius, in the 13-14 division, is happy to have the support of Dothan behind him this week.
10 and under competitor Matthew Streitman feels more comfortable golfing here at the Dothan Country Club.
Tournament play begins tomorrow. First round tee time for the 13-14 age group is set for 6:30 in the morning. The 11-12 age group will begin at 11:45.
