ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia sophomore Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been named Southeastern Conference player of the year by The Associated Press.

The awards announced Monday also included Florida's Billy Donovan as coach of the year and Mississippi's Marshall Henderson as newcomer of the year.

Caldwell-Pope ranked second in the SEC in scoring at 18.5 points. The 6-foot-5 guard was a unanimous choice to the All-SEC first team, joined by Florida's Erik Murphy, Alabama's Trevor Releford, Tennessee's Jordan McRae and Kentucky's Nerlens Noel.

Henderson led the SEC in scoring at 20.1 points after joining the Rebels. He also was named to the second team.

Donovan received the coaching honor after guiding Florida to the regular-season championship and a spot in the NCAA tournament.
