(AP) -- Josh Hamilton drove in two runs, Scott Feldman won his sixth straight decision and the Texas Rangers defeated the Kansas City Royals 4-2.
Feldman is 6-6. He became the first pitcher in 29 years to win six consecutive decisions after starting the season 0-6. Doyle Alexander did it in 1983 with the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays.
Hamilton, who leads the majors with 90 RBIs, hit an opposite-field single in the third inning to score Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus.

In other AL action:
-- Felix Hernandez dominated the Yankees in their own ballpark while leading Seattle past New York 1-zip. His third shutout of the season ups Hernandez' record to 10-5. The games only run scored on Mike Carp's single in the second inning.

-- After going 15 innings on Friday night, the Toronto Blue Jays needed just 11 innings to beat the L.A. Angels 3-1. David Cooper hit a tying homer in the ninth inning and Edwin Encarnacion (ehn-kar-nah-see-OHN') scored on catcher George Kottaras' throwing error in the 11th.

-- Doug Fister retired his first 17 batters and then settled for a four-hitter in the Detroit Tigers' 6-1 victory over the fading Cleveland Indians, who've lost eight straight.

-- Joe Mauer hit a three-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth inning in the Minnesota Twins' 6-4 comeback win over the struggling Boston Red Sox. Boston has lost four straight.

-- Wei-Yin Chen allowed five hits in seven innings, Chris Davis had two RBIs, and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-0.

-- The L.A. Angels nipped the Chicago White Sox 6-5 in 10 innings. Howie Kendrick drove in the go-ahead run. Albert Pujols (POO'-hohlz) hit his 24th home run, his sixth in his last five games.

Over in the NL:
-- Danny Espinosa's (ehs-pihn-NOH'-suhz) three-run home run and Bryce Harper's solo shot highlighted a six-run eighth inning and the NL East-leading Washington Nationals beat Miami 10-7. Adam LaRoche homered twice for the Nats, who increased their division lead to three games over Atlanta.

-- Justin Maxwell homered twice in Houston's 3-2 win over Atlanta. Maxwell had a career-high four hits as the Astros won for just the fourth time in 33 games.

-- Scott Rolen tripled and scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as the Cincinnati Reds won their fifth straight game, 5-4 over Pittsburgh. The Reds have won 15 of 16 and opened a 5 1/2-game lead over Pittsburgh in the NL Central.

-- Roy Halladay gave up three hits over seven innings and Erik Kratz homered and drove in a pair in the Philadelphia Phillies' 3-0 victory over Arizona.

-- Adam Wainwright pitched a five-hitter and also contributed at the plate with two hits and an RBI in leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 6-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers.

-- Clayton Kershaw pitched three-hit ball over seven innings, Matt Kemp homered and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1 to keep Chris Volstad winless in his last 21 starts. He's 0-8 this year.

-- San Francisco maintained its half-game edge on the Los Angeles Dodgers by mauling Colorado 11-6. Angel Pagan homered and had four hits to back a solid outing by Madison Bumgarner, who won his 12th game.

-- The New York Mets topped San Diego 6-2. Jeremy Hefner pitched six solid innings to raise his mark to 2-4.

NFL-PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME
CANTON, Ohio (AP) -- Willie Roaf was tough to get around, an extraordinary blocker at tackle. He was impossible to ignore for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Roaf was the first player inducted Saturday in a six-man group that included four linemen. Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman and Cortez Kennedy joined him, along with running back Curtis Martin and cornerback Jack Butler.
The first preseason game of 2012 featuring the Arizona Cardinals against the New Orleans Saints will be played Sunday night in Canton, Ohio. Replacement referees will work the game as the NFL is locked in a labor dispute with its regular refs.

NFL-TRAINING CAMP NEWS
UNDATED(AP) -- Tennessee Titans center Eugene Amano will miss the 2012 season with a torn triceps muscle in his right arm.
Amano started at center the past two seasons for the Titans. He was injured in Thursday night's practice when hit by a helmet while blocking on a pass attempt.

-- Good news, Jets fans. Santonio Holmes is OK. X-rays on the New York wide receiver's ribs Saturday night were negative, easing concerns that Holmes might be sidelined a while. The team said Holmes is day-to-day after he was injured in the team's scrimmage.
-- Denver signed free-agent safety Jim Leonhard (LEH'-nurd). The Broncos needed a reinforcement in the secondary after second-year starter Quinton Carter injured his right knee and hamstring.
-- The Cowboys say rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne could miss at least a week with a sprained left knee.

WGC-BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL
Furyk with narrow lead
AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Jim Furyk (FYOOR'-ihk) shot an even-par 70 in round three of the Bridgestone Invitational and will bring a one-stroke lead into the final 18 holes of the WGC tournament.
Louis Oosthuizen (WUHST'-hy-zehn) is alone in second place after signing for a 68.
Sunday tee times have been pushed forward to avoid forecasted thunderstorms.

RENO, Nev. (AP) -- J.J. Henry had an eagle for the third straight day and scored 14 points to take the third-round lead in the Reno-Tahoe Open.
John Daly and Justin Leonard were among more than a dozen players within striking distance in the PGA Tour's first modified Stableford scoring system event since 2006.

Peoples surges into lead
BLAINE, Minn. (AP) -- David Peoples holds a three-shot advantage over Argentina's Eduardo Romero after two rounds of the Champions Tour event in Minnesota. Peoples got to 14-under-par for the tournament with a 10-under 62. Romero carded a 65.
