The University of South Alabama men's basketball program has announced that Hakim Saintil will join the team and play for the Jaguars in the 2013-14 season.
Saintil, a native of Roselle, N.J., is a 5-foot-11 point guard from Roselle Catholic High School. He brings the Jags' incoming class up to five and is the second spring addition.

"We are very excited to add Hakim to the 2013 class as he will provide additional depth at the point guard position," USA head coach Matthew Graves said. "We really like his defensive abilities, toughness and ability to make others better."

As a senior, Saintil averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Lions, who won the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament of Champions and was named Team of the Year by the Newark Star-Ledger.
