GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida's top draft prospect missed the majority of the school's Pro Day on Tuesday.
Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, widely considered a top-five draft pick, skipped the on-field session because of an ankle injury. He is planning a private workout for NFL teams March 22.
Without Floyd, safety Matt Elam and linebacker Jon Bostic were the biggest draws for scouts, general managers and head coaches. Elam and Bostic are the only other Gators considered early round picks heading into next month's draft.
Tight end Jordan Reed, running back Mike Gillislee, linebacker Jelani Jenkins, safety Josh Evans, offensive lineman Xavier Nixon, defensive tackle Omar Hunter, and receivers Omarius Hines and Frankie Hammond Jr. also worked out.
Representatives from all 32 NFL teams, including Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin and Jacksonville coach Gus Bradley.
