The search for a new Head Football Coach at Carroll High School is officially over. Roger mcdonald is headed to the Wiregrass to join the Eagle squad.

McDonald comes to Carroll from (GHSAA 1-A) Greenville H.S. in Greenville, GA where he went 8-4 in 2011 and 5-6 in 2012. In Alabama, Coach McDonald was the Head Coach at (4-A) Beauregard H.S. for Three Seasons. He was also Head Coach at (5-A) Valley H.S. from 2004-2008.

He replaces Head Coach Ken Valrie, who guided the Eagles to a 6-5 record and a first round state playoff appearance last year. Those 6 wins are the most the school has seen since 2005.

Coach Valrie and the Eagles are excited to add McDonald and his experience to the program.
