Red Level and Wicksburg couldn't decide their 2A South Regional Semifinal contest in 32 minutes. It turns out 36 and 40 minutes wasn't enough either.

The Tigers used a 6-0 run at the start of the third overtime to take control, before holding off the Panthers 65-63. With the win, Red Level advanced to face Barbour County in the 2A Regional Final on Friday night at 6:45 p.m.

Kajerek Lawrenced scored 18 points to lead Red Level, while James Feagin chipped in 17 points and Dequarious Tolbert added 14.

Trey McNeal had a team-high 19 points and 16 rebounds for Wicksburg, before fouling out late in the second overtime. Austin Sellers added 14 points, while Gabe Richards chipped in 10 for the Panthers.

The Panthers forced overtime on McNeal's lay-up in the final minute of regulation. Lawrence returned the favor for Red Level, scoring in the final 30 seconds of overtime to keep the Tigers alive.

Julius Bullock hit one of two free throws in the second overtime to tie the game once again, and force triple OT. In the third extra period, Red Level took advantage of the short-handed Panthers, scoring six early points.

Lawrence and Feagin each scored early in the final overtime, and Panthers forward Cam Wiehe fouled out in the process, leaving Wicksburg even more short-handed.

The Panthers wouldn't quit, as Davian Johnson hit a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining to pull Wicksburg within two points. However, the Panthers couldn't get the ball back, and Red Level survived, advancing to face top-ranked Barbour County on Friday.

Wicksburg ends it's season with a 25-7 record.
