Providence Christian Star Kyle Eriksen Signs with Faulkner Univeristy

Dothan, AL -- Kyle Eriksen has spent his football career at Providence Christian serving as a jack of all trades for the Eagles. Now, he hopes to have a similar impact at the college level, although he'll only play one position.

Eriksen on Tuesday signed a letter of intent to play for Faulkner University in Montgomery. He is the second Providence player to sign a letter of intent in the history of the program, joining quarterback Nick Plagenhoef, who signed with Huntingdon College in 2008.

Eriksen had a huge senior year for the Eagles, averaging 33.5 yards per punt return and and scoring two touchdowns. He added 22 catches and four TDs, 544 yards rushing and 6 TDs, as well as 61 tackles as a free safety.

He finished his Providence career with 82 catches for 1,240 yards and 12 TDs, 316 carries for 1,715 yards and 16 TDs and 172 tackles (153 Solo) and 8 interceptions.
