AUBURN, Alabama -- It's not game week, but it sure did feel like it Tuesday.
After 18 days of preseason camp, No. 6 Auburn finally started preparing for Arkansas with a full-padded practice on its practice fields at the Auburn Athletics Complex. Even coach Gus Malzahn was in game mode, offering short and succinct answers to reporters' questions following the two-hour day on the practice field.
"Slowly starting to put in our game plan for our first opponent, but we're still focusing on basic fundamentals," Malzahn said. "Just really trying to get good at what we do. First games are always about adjustments and it usually comes back to doing what you do well."
