College football guru Phil Steele is back at it. This time, he's analyzing 2013 schedules.
Steele says that the strength or weakness of a team's schedule is one of the most important factors when predicting the direction a season is headed.
He claims Louisville, Nebraska and Northern Illinois are teams that may wind up with a winning season because of their easy paths.
Out of the three teams who have the talent to win, but boast the toughest schedules, 2 are from the SEC.
He rates the Florida Gators as having the number 1 toughest schedule and sees three regular-season losses in their future. As for Mississippi State, Steele doesn't even project them to make it to a bowl game due to schedule difficulty. UCLA is the third schedule loser.
