Phil Steele releases 2014 preseason All-America team

Phil Steele released his 2014 preseason All-America team. 10 SEC players made Steele's first team. The Tide lead SEC school with eight team members. Alabama receiver Amari Cooper and safety Landon Collins represent the Tide. Cooper led Alabama in receiving last year while Collins racked up 70 tackles and two interceptions on defense. Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston did not land on the first team. He's the second-team QB. Oregon's Marcus Mariota is number one.

Five Tide athletes made Steele's second team. T.J Yeldon, Arie Kouandjio, O.J. Howard, Trey DePriest and Christion Jones made the cut. Reese Dismukes is the lone Auburn Tiger to make any team. The center made the second team for the Tigers.

Alabama defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson was named to the fourth team.
