Three players in the state of Alabama have been added to the Butkus Award watch list.
The Butkus Award is given to the nation's top linebacker.
Auburn's Kris Frost, had 59 tackles last season, seven of which were in the National Championship game.
Alabama has two players on the watch list. Trey DePriest and Reggie Ragland both have the potential to keep the award with the Tide. Last year, C.J. Mosley brought the Butkus Award to Tuscaloosa,
DePriest has been a contributor for the Tide since his freshman season. He had 65 tackles last season.
Ragland, a junior is competing for the starting job in the fall.
