Northwest Florida Edges Palm Beach at State Tournament

MARIANNA, FL -- Chris Jones scored 26 points leading Northwest Florida to a 72-64 win over Palm Beach at the FCSAA State Tournament. With the win, the Raiders advanced to the semifinals on Friday to face Central Florida Community College.

Jones, a Louisville signee, added six rebounds and four assists for the nationally-ranked Raiders. Shykeem Jackson chipped in 19 points for Northwest Florida.

Jonathan Holton, a candidate for Florida Junior College Player of the Year, had 19 points and 18 rebounds in the losing effort.
